To keep your hookah performing at its best, follow these steps to clean and maintain it regularly:
Clean the hookah after every use
Start by taking all the parts apart, including the bowl, the base and the mouthpiece.
Wash each part with a soft brush and lukewarm water. Use a mild soap if needed to remove deposits and residue.
Rinse the parts well with clean water and dry them with a soft cloth before putting them back together.
Clean the mouthpiece and tubes
Use a small brush to clean the lower stem and the hose tubes regularly.
A solution of vinegar and water can be used to clean the mouthpiece and tubes; then rinse them well and dry them.
Dry everything completely
Make sure every part is completely dry after cleaning, so no mould or unpleasant smells build up.
Change the water regularly
Change the water in the base after every use to keep the hookah clean and the flavour fresh.
Use a hookah cleaning brush
Use a brush made for hookahs to clean the inner tubes and remove deposits.
Replace worn parts
Replace any old or damaged parts with new ones to keep your hookah performing at its best.
